I recently heard a song just by chance on KROQ 106.7, and Short Skirt/Long Jacket came on. All the way home, I was like, who the heck was that! It's freakin awesome! I downloaded the song, then the whole album because it was totally worthy of a... more

HomeHello, I am me, This is About Me, who am me, me is we with em uspside down. Where Do I say hello? When I am me and me a we?Jul 8, 2006
Don't forget to breathe, it's the most important thing to do.

It’s funny how the easiest thing to write about can be really difficult. Consider the fact that you know yourself more than anyone else in the world, except for God of course, because He knows you more. But when it comes to writing about yourself, talking about what you want to do in life, what your goals are, how you work with other people, or just by even talking about your early childhood can be really scary. Creepy in fact. There’s always those moments in your life when you have to express yourself in words. For some it’s easy and for the rest it’s a life and death situation where if you can’t find the right words…you can make a bad impression. I, thankfully, am in the middle of the some and the rest. It’s also odd, I am a middle child. I have always noticed that I have always been in the middle of emotions or just even in the way I act. And in the words of one of my fellow co-writers whom I met at the Cal Arts Program this summer, “He describes his older brother as being…more of a people person, whereas…his younger brother as keeping to himself…, which both by birth and…character puts Paul somewhere in the middle.” One of the things I don’t tell people about myself is that I love to learn. Mostly, of course, in subjects that I can understand; I somehow tend to lean towards the “science- y” side of me. I feel such a great magnetic calling to Chemistry, but it’s a field that I know I cannot excel in. I hold a great deal of passion for creative writing. It’s one of those hobbies that’s grown from the cheesy high school, depressed, “teenage wasteland”, life sucks, poetry, to words that can express in metaphors and similes. Usually when people ask me what I write about, they ask me if I read. I’d say no, and then they’d be smart and ask, and I quote, “Then what is it that you write about?” It’s just one of those moments were you just have to pause and ask yourself what you really want to do in life. Another passion I hold dearly is one for photography. If you look on (I never thought I’d say this.) my myspace, you can view some of the photography that I’ve done. Funny thing, I rarely tell this to anyone I don’t know, but, hey, you’re reading it, I have a passion for singing as well. Yes, I can sing…on key, too, but it takes me a while, I have to practice many times. Officially, I’m at a crossroad right now, with what goals I want to accomplish in life. One of those goals is to graduate from college with a degree in . I do see myself probably going into the Creative Writing/English major, though. So that is a plus. I couldn’t get a critical reading class so that really made me feel down for at least 3 days, because there you get to read poetry and talk about it. I love doing that. I would, however, like to work with teenagers 15+, reason being I do have a lot of wisdom for my age, eighteen. I guess it’s just common sense. That’s one of the things that really ticks me that a person can get paid for giving common sense, it’s one of the reasons why I hate, no not hate, its such a strong word, dislike, Dr. Phil so much. But then again, you do get paid really well, so props to the bald guy! I hope this helped you get to know me a little bit more, I’m a bit of an oxymoron. And that can be a good thing. I'm the middle child, how am I spoiled? And looking back at my life I feel I don't regret anything...yet. I have friends that lift me when I fall. I have role models that I will always look up to. I have loving caring parents. I have two other brothers that are my yin and yang, 1. because I'm in the middle of the yin-yang 2. because I know that they always shed light on weird situations. I graduated from a small highschool that sheltered the little children from what the world really is, and they're right and wrong at the same time. There's really nothing wrong with me. I'm just a normal guy, just trying to survive this wretched thing we call life. That's full of love and hate...mostly hate, but LOVE is always an exception. I have many responsibilites/hobbies/qualities that include 1. God, He has played an important role in my life and without His guidance, I wouldn't be where I am today...alive, that's for sure. =] 2. photography 3. creative writing 4. singing in church choir 5. being a leader at my Youth Group 6. Being a brother. 7. trying to be a good Christian Catholic.
I like movies that make you think. I like songs that are composed and produced well. I like lyrics that make you feel. I love books, but I can't seem to get my face infront of one.
I have many different sides to me. I am always happy. at times I want to be sad. when I'm angry,...yes, I cuss, and it feels cool.
I download A LOT OF MUSIC! I can speak and sing in both English and Spanish. I used to know how to do sign language, I can only remember the abc hand signs...
I have family in Mexico that I miss A LOT! I grew up with them...during short summer and christmas visits, and that sucks because...I really love them.
